Metranet services are delivered using the most progressive wireless networking technology, a standard which will become known as WiMAX. Unlike other wireless technologies, WiMAX is carrier class and offers full Quality of Service for applications such as Voice over IP, video conferencing or security cameras.
This robust standard allows reliable transmission of data at high speed over great distances. We can already reach most locations within 10km of our primary access point in central Brighton and our industry leading service level agreement pledges 99.9% uptime.
Because we don't need to dig up roads or connect via local exchanges we are able to provide this high level of service at prices which significantly undercut alternatives such as SDSL, IPStream or leased lines.
We can also deliver in areas where other services are simply not viable and our short lead time makes it even easier to connect to Metranet.

We understand how critical connectivity is to an efficient operation and how difficult it can be for a growing business to find the right package. That's why our services are available on terms as short as 6 months and why re-grades between packages are FREE. On longer contract terms we are able to offer a lease purchase agreement which spreads out the installation cost.
What's more, you aren't tied down by your connection — if you have to move offices you can take your connectivity with you.
We are always happy to consider the individual needs of our customers and are used to providing bespoke solutions for one-off events such as conferences or festivals. We can join a group of premises together or even a simple point to point link.
Working with our partners we can provide real resilience by combining our connectivity with another service or we can offer a failover solution to your existing high speed connection.
Of course, we also offer all the services which you would expect from an ISP such as web hosting, and email services along with some services you may not have thought of such as online data backup or remote management of your hardware.
